This event hits close to home for us and all funds raised go directly to a local resident that is fighting cancer. Our cousin Emily was a recipient in 2008 and this is such a fun, special event that we participate every year. We are excited to invite our Inner Circle to join us so we can have a Full Circle group on the team!

Hey everyone! This year we are celebrating 13 years of running/walking/shuffling our feet at the 16th Annual Lo Tide Run, done in memory of our beautiful angel in heaven, Emily. 

This year I am not only your team captain, but I am officially a board member of the Lo Tide Run! As always I feel so blessed to be a part of this organization and to have friends and family near and far take part in this wonderful event! Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions and I will continue to update the group with all details pertaining to race day. 

Our sister Emily was the recipient of the Lo Tide Run In 2008. Every year since then, Emily’s friends, family, and even strangers alike have come together to remember and honor the beautiful life of Emily Chandler Karns, and to show support of cancer patients in our community who are in desperate need of a helping hand. 

Emily was a daughter/sister/niece/Aunt/cousin/friend/mentor/dog mom and so much more to so many people. Though she fought cancer for nearly 4 years before she passed, her spirit and zest for life affected and inspired all of us-and still continues to do so!

This year’s race takes place on March 14, 2020. 

We ask you to join us this year for the 16th annual Lo Tide Run and make Emily’s team the biggest and best team we’ve ever had! Even if you can’t make it to the actual race, please still sign up and be a part of our team to help those in need, receive a T-Shirt, and a “Lucky Charm” made by our talented mom, Kim! 

So what are you waiting for, team?! It takes 2 minutes to register for the Steve Haydu Lo Tide Run! It’s a 5K/10K walk or run. This is something we do every year, and if you’ve never participated before, you’ll learn quickly it is such a good, LOCAL cause, and we ALWAYS have fun. It’s an amazing, spirited, fun event that raises money for cancer patients in OUR COMMUNITY. 

Our team is already created on the online registration form, and all proceeds go to the cancer patients!
